Jim P. Brock is a longtime lepidopterist, butterfly photographer, researcher, tour leader and author based in Tucson, Arizona.
Jim is the co-author of Butterflies of Southeastern Arizona, Butterflies of North America and Caterpillars in the Field and Garden and sole author of Butterflies of the Southwest.
Jim has been studying butterflies for over 40 years. His trips have taken him to Brazil, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, the West Indies, Canada and all 50 states. Three different butterfly species have been named in his honor.
